Welcome to the New
(and Hopefully Improving)
Class of 1962 Website
While the URL for our class website remains “cma62.org”, the site is in the process of migrating to a new hosting environment (from “CulverGrads”* to “SquareSpace”).
The full migration is going to take a lot of time and effort … which is in short supply while your webmaster (and Class President) simultaneously supports the preparation for our 60th Reunion AND moves his and Betsy’s domicile from near San Francisco to near San Diego (to be near the grandkids).
In the meantime, all new information and web pages will be added in the new environment. Most all of the old webpages will be archived in their old format and still available. As time permits, old web pages will be migrated to the new environment.
The primary casualty of the migration will be the loss of the ability to see the full online Roll Call profile of classmates and to edit your own. On the other hand, the loss of these abilities means no need to login in to see any of the remaining web pages.
*The “CulverGrads” environment was developed by a Class of ’57 grad and was state of the art when it first went online. However, that was in 1997! Further, we have been the only class that has still making significant use to the environment. Hence, the decision to migrate to a new and modern environment.
For the truly geeky, the new website will be still be reachable using the same URL of “cma62.org” with links to the old website, which will be at “cma62.net”
