Arriving Early? Departing After?
If you are arriving before or departing after the “core” of the Mini,
you might consider these other dining opportunities which are within easy walking distance of the Headquarters hotel
Kansas City BBQ A classic dive bar experience. Home of the sleazy bar from the original “Top Gun”
Lion’s Share "Best Bar Food in America" (says their web site!)
or you can walk a bit further to the Gaslamp District and its myriad of restaurants and entertainment spots
If you like “dueling pianos”, The Shout House is highly recommended. The food is good (although nothing spectacular), but the entertainment is fantastic, non-stop, and LOUD.
